Dr. Mathur is one of a kind! She is warm, caring, & kind! You don't feel like you're a number at all. She made me feel like I was family. She's extremely PASSIONATE about her patient's well being! I can't express how grateful I am to have her as my Dr.

I have seen Dr. Mathur several time now in my efforts to curtail my ADHD diagnosis. Dr. Mathur has been very attentive, caring and sweet. I feel that she listens well and doesnt give me the run around. Many doctors are so busy and have too many patients to give adequate care and this is not the case. Highly recommend!!

I have been going there for close to a year and a half now. I love my therapist and my Dr. As far as the office staff it depends on who helps you. I regularly tried to go to Cynthia for help. She is able, kind, and caring. Always remembered my name and things I had shared with her while at her window. If I had an issue, she would fix it. The rest of the office staff, as well as billing, is a joke! Recently was told Cynthia is leaving which is a significant loss for this office. I was so impressed with my experience at Coastal Psychiatric Medical Associates. I started with Dr. Steven James (amazing Psychiatrist) then began therapy with April L'Heureux who was fantastic! Both helped me through a very difficult time. I had read previous reviews from a long time ago but the front office is extremely professional and easy to work with and responded quickly and proficiently. I would definitely recommend Coastal Psychiatric for any Psychiatric or therapy need. Thank you so much!

The biggest mistake I have ever made in regards to my mental health was switching from Dr. Ann Massion to Preeti Mather. Ann is a caring, compassionate psychiatrist who truly gets to know her patients and what will & won't work with them where as Mather is... well... pretty much what every negative review has described her to be. I made the switch out of frustration. I was not patient with Ann and I felt that we didn't vibe as well as I wanted to with a psychiatrist. And I was wrong for that. It makes me sad that Coastal Psychiatric has such negative reviews. Dr. Ann Massion has been my doctor for over 5 yrs and she is by far the best physician I've ever had. She is professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, patient and just all around a good human. I can understand the overwhelming dissatisfaction with the front office staff, I will not name names because I'm a southern lady, but I will say that I've dealt with a pretty unlike able character that was employed there previously. I don't usually write reviews on Yelp, but I found that many of the current reviews for Coastal Psych are inaccurate and I wanted to share my opinion. I visited for the first time last week and had a very positive experience.
