Let me set expectations for those who are needing health services. The admin can be a little rough. Some doctors are a good fit so understand this network has many doctors and one will be the right one for you. That being said, my doctor is amazing and goes above and beyond to be sure I have what I need and strives to understand me as a whole not just mental health.
I was looking for a new doctor while under care and I was treated like I was shopping for prescriptions. I was told that I would not have further discussions and to not schedule a follow up until I had taken a drug screening test. Throughout the appointment, Dr. Zachariah would ask me questions, and as I would answer and explain, he interrupted me and kept steering the conversation back to drug use and abuse. I went to Dr surya for a long time and I'm no longer a patient due to change in insurance. He really was the best doctor I have had. Long story short, I delt with aura's or episodes for years that he always tried to figure out. He told me they were from migraines so I made it a note in my head after I had my kids, I would see a neurologist again with the intent of getting migraine meds. I knew Dr. Surya, about 10 years back. This time around as I needed a consult of a psychiatrist, hence, I looked for him again. To my astonishment I found him and visited him. My first visit yesterday, went so very well and I truly feel like leaving a few comments for him…usually, I refrain from doing so… Good Doctor Indeed, 10 years ago and now! Very impressed again!
Dr. Adigun is very respectful during our tele appointment. She listens and very knowledgeable of your conditions every visit.
