I had a great first experience with MindRx. Firstly, I loved that I was able to do a self referral - I know it can be challenging to get a referral via a doctor or therapist. Secondly, the scheduling team is professional and I loved that I did my scheduling though text message. Thirdly, I saw Cary Shore who was wonderful. She was so kind. I didn't feel judged or rushed through our session. She asked insightful questions to really understand my situation. I would highly recommend seeking care with MindRx Group.
Will charge you for every little thing. Got charged for asking to switch pharmacies beacause my usual one was out of a medication I need to function. This is a brand new policy they never used to have, and i wasn't told about the change. Never would have gone to them if I knew that they'd have such a vampirism policy.. Took ages to respond, and are the most unhelpful doctors office I've ever used. Will definitely be leaving.

Expensive. No sliding fee scale. No discount for uninsured offered. Spent 200 to get told y a therapist I need to stop nursing my daughter. Definitely no connection with the therapist as they, and the staff, seem to lack empathy. The staff messed up multiple times on billing me so just took ot out weeks later without checking (yes it is in the paperwork but it was their mistake, admittedly so it would have been nice if they checked in with me first so maybe I could make a payment plan, the feeling I kept getting is that they... read more
I really liked the doctor I worked with, however, MindRx participates in abhorrent and predatory billing practices. They require a card on file, and require that you consent to them charging you WITHOUT ANY SORT OF NOTICE OR STATEMENT. They charged me close to $300 without any sort of invoice or notice, and completely screwed me over for rent/other bills.
