Not sure why this is poorly rated, I thought this was fantastic. You literally have a private, quiet, climate controlled room with an Alexa and a TV, a desk, chair and couch. I paid $20 to shower and it was so clean and refreshing. If you’re stuck in the airport on a delay or a layover, this is so worth checking out. I used Priority Pass to enter for free.
I arrived at IAH for a layover around 1:30 PM and headed straight here using my Priority Pass membership, which provides a complimentary one-hour stay. I was told the next available room wouldn’t be ready until 3:15 PM, so I booked it, even though my connecting flight was set to board at 4:10 PM. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed by the experience. I rented a mini suite here for a 2 hour nap and a shower. The staff were very friendly and the room and shower were very clean and comfortable. So worth it, I am home and refreshed instead of jetlagged.
Unfortunately have to rate low due to unavailability, errors online and unsympathetic workers. I held off on booking in case there were flight delays (my own fault) though opened the booking website as soon as I landed. The website showed availability so I got my hopes up, only to be told “we’re fully booked” once I arrived. Now I’ll be spending the next six hours on the floor! Was looking forward to this service. BOOK IN ADVANCE!
Forget it if you have priority pass. Esp during peak hours. Priority pass is almost useless at this airport. One of the largest airports in the country. Can try the KLM lounge in terminal D. Good luck!!
