What a great concept. I arrived at IAH several hours before my flight and found other lounges to be at capacity with long wait times. Minute Suites popped up on my internet search of lounges and I did my best to try rationalize the bad reviews because I was so eager to get out of my business attire into something more comfortable for travel. Recently stayed at Minute Suites at IAH and had the best experience! Jaedon is an absolute sweetheart and I was appalled seeing their name in a previous bad review. I don’t know why anyone would even think that of Jaedon or anyone who works at this location. I’ve had the honor of interacting with multiple associates on my frequent business trips and everyone has been so kind and accommodating during my long layovers.
The furniture wasn’t in the best condition, but honestly not a big deal when considering where you’re at. The fact that you can sleep in a private room on a cushioned sofa with pillows and blankets in the airport is a luxury. It was quiet, dark, and relaxing. A great option to get away from the busy terminals of the airport. Other airports abroad allow you two hours while this facility allows one. Just a heads up if that’s what you’re used to.
Resting pod with ample space, sofa you can lay down, TV. Clean. No food or drink. No private restroom. Shower for extra fee. It’s great for a quick nap after early flight or long flight if you have long connection. Nothing special - as advertised.
A geniune lifesaver when I was on a 27hr long journey with a 4h layover in Houston. Couch was comfy and a pillow and blanket were provided - I slept so deeply for about 1.5h. Shower was huge and clean, except for the stained toilet seat - but it was clearly an old stain as well. Towels and hairdryer were all provided too.
