Excellent service and outstanding food every time!!!!
The service was super. The history of the hotel was impressive, especially to my friends visiting from Palm Springs. I had been there years ago with my niece while she was studying at SBU and back then we also enjoyed our meal and the service. Wish the weather had been a bit warmer to enjoy the water view. Oh well, maybe next time.
We had a 4pm reservation for Thanksgiving dinner. We were seated at 4:03 which was excellent considering it was very busy. Even though we had to wait 15 minutes for the waiter to arrive at our table for service it was no big deal. After our drink order everything moved along smoothly and the service was very good for the rest of the meal. The food was excellent with a wide variety appetizers ,salads and a choice of 3 items for the main course. Turkey,Salmon and Prime Rib. The dessert bar also had a wide choice of cookies,pie... read more
I went for my Thanksgiving Lunch I went by myself since I have no family close by It was a very nice Buffet and the entire Staff was very very nice It was a two hour buffet so I was there till 2 pm Then it started to get busy for Dinner time At 2 I went for nice walk across the street by the water yes I would go back
Everything was great overall. The setup for the buffet was a little bit disjointed having to walk across a a bunch of rooms and up and down stairs with food in hand. The area we had to walk through was packed with people waiting for tables and at the bar as well. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed but tended to our needs when we could catch him. The food was great. The carving station line was long but moved quickly. Id recommend a better set up for future buffets however overall the food was great.
First time eating thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant and it was superb. Our server, Patrick, was pleasantly welcoming and accommodating and added to our overall dining experience…A+ for his service. The food was phenomenal especially for a buffet style setup. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning for regular dinner service. Went with the intent of enjoying the holiday without the hassle of having dishes to clean (as we’ve had a chaotic week) but would return for the quality of food, ambience, an... read more
