Was with my teenage son on Long Island for a soccer tournament and found this brunch through open table. Charming town center and inn. Nice ambience. Teenager loved food because of quantity and variety. Quality of food was very good, although when we were there it was a light day with few guests so the stations didn't get refreshed very often and food ended up under warming lights or in chafing dishes too long. We recently took my mother here for her birthday for brunch. The buffet was well presented, the food fresh and clean. Staff was accommodating and helpful. The only cons were that the seating area was quite a distance to the buffet.
The food was excellent and the wine list had plenty to choose from, although the prices are a bit higher than average. The wait staff was attentive and accessible. Overall, we had a great experience and will be back for more.
Just an overall great experience
The service was good at this vibrant, but noisy tavern. It's definitely a place to go when you want pub food as opposed to fine dining! It cannot be compared to its sister restaurant-Mirabelle.
We had a great night at the Tavern were the food was perfect and the service was terrific. Will be back soon!
We had a much better experience this time than last month, althoug I did have to ask to check on where our entrees were); I think it helps that the Tavern was empty when we arrived but filled up later; this time was more like our previous experiences with good service (it still could be more attentive)and complete orders.
I was disappointed that the waiter did not know the answers to my questions maybe he was new.
Excellent as always - I love this place Great wine recommendations. Service was stellar.
