Although I was a fan of Mirabelle Restaurant, I had been reluctant to try the Tavern when the majority of choices where in the burgers and fish and chips category. The addition of a Spring prix fixe menu is a real plus. I enjoyed the crab salad, salamon and their signature ginger tart with a glass of pinot grigio. The other member of the group was extremely pleased with the seared scallops and creme brulee. The restaurant was quiet and encouraging to relaxed conversation.
Beautiful, picturesque, place for a romantic dinner then a stroll on the beach.must mention excellent musician.
Service much improved, and that was the sole sticking point from past visits. Keep it up!
This was our 2nd visit and again, wonderful service, food and drink. We plan to come back many times!

I really like this place, but they need to do something about the temperature. Cold in the front. Extremely warm in the back. Caught something due to temp extremes. :-(
There's a great beer list but a not-so-impressive wine selection. The bartender was very friendly as was the support staff. My group was not thrilled by our lackluster server, who didn't seem to know much about what we were eating nor was she very enthusiastic while speaking to us. The foie gras daily preparation was delicious, but the steak tartare was bland and the cheese plate unexciting.
