The food was excellent!! Love the Foie gras!!
Were 5 people having a "mini" reunion (family members from around country". Moderate noise so that we could hear each other speaking without shouting, friendly, yet professional wait service, EXCELLENT food (we had the lamb and a fish dish) great presentation. Always am pleased to go there. The tavern was very cozy on a rainy night.
Decor was very rustic, with lots of bare wood furniture and brass lighting fixtures. Service was 1st rate. I had noticed that my wife received a glass of wine about 1/3 full and that the next table over received a glas of wine more than half full and mentioned it to the waiter. He provided the next glass at no charge. Food was also excellent. Several varieties of Oysters are available and a Prix Fixe Menu is available I beleive Fri-Sun. Will definitely return!
The food is consistently good!!! I got the ginger, leak and apple soup and it was incredible. The service is always outstanding. This is a great spot for brunch, lunch and dinner.
Have had dinner here a few times and it was extremely good, but I think they were a bit understaffed for this Sunday brunch. We weren't greeted or instructed on what was included and where to find the food until we asked. Most of the food was good to very good, but a lot of the hot dishes were cold and the noise level was high.
Food was very good and very varied. My only complain was the service. We were there for the buffet, so the only realy service we needed was drinks. Getting drinks was difficult. We had to wave down a server to ask, then actually getting them took forever. No one ever came to our table to ask if we wanted another drink or refills. Other than that the experience was excellent.
Fine dining at a resonable price for lunch. Unhurried and pleasant all around.
Excellent addition to the restaurant.
Food was great. The service was very very slow. I would not have a business lunch there again but would have a lunch on a week end with no time schedule.
