Our dining experience was spectacular! The food was absolutely amazing! The oxtail soup was the best soup I have ever had. The tartare was perfectly seasoned! I was with a large group and we all ordered different dishes. All were amazing! The chef de cuisine is doing an amazing job. I have been coming here for years and in the past six months the food has gotten better and better. The food is sometimes eclectic, sometimes traditional - but always with the feel of a trained and confident chef. Someone in the kitchen knows wha... read more
Excellent food and service, with a nice almost "down home" feel, but in a classic setting.
Enjoyed ourselves there! Nice selection of comfortable tavern food as well as French provincial bistro choices. Service was attentive and eager. Will make this a regular dining spot!
Chef Guy is world class. Food was outstanding.
It was very nice and the menu had sufficient choices. I look forward to dining in the formal resturant one day, and will return to the Tavern again. A good experience overall.
It was a nice evening for the 6 of us. Drinks were excellent; food was very good with 2 exceptions; and, service was excellent.
Overall it was a pleasant breakfast at 9am on a Friday The warmth of the fireplace and cushioned seats and pillows added to the experience. Bill our server was attentive and kind. The buffet was good but not remarkable. The eggs, bacon and sausage were delicious as were the croissants. The french toast was almost greasy, dense and rubbery. We were disappointed that we could not order our breakfast from a menu. There were no pancakes, waffles or toast.
Always enjoy the lovely fixed price lunch menu...you get to enjoy a lovely lunch at a very reasonable price. I always leave full and happy.
It was a good dining experience. Service was a little slow. We did have eight people though, but it took a bit of time for food to be dropped and to pay out. This is my second time visiting this location. The first time during restaurant week was horrendous. Food and service were not enjoyable at all. Food was not flavorful either. I'm glad this time, it was a better experience. I will try again and hopefully will keep getting better and better.
