The food and service were very good. This is definitely a great addition to the Stony Brook restaurant scene. I have had dinner here as well when the Tavern first opened and the service has improved since then. Yesterday was very pleasant with very attentive service.
Freddy Monday was an excellent performer. Would return to hear him again. Wine too expensive!!! Ridiculous to pay $10-15 a glass!!!!!!!
Wasn't overly impressed. Have eaten here on and off over 50 years but, service was a bit slow as we had to be somewhere. Felt it was a bit stuffy. Understand that it is an all day thing with some people but, a bit too slow. Food was moderate. Not impressed. Will not go back.
The food is excellent, but the portions are small and the service indifferent.
The chicken pie was much better than the steak and fries, but both were tasty. The portions are small. The salads were delicious and imaginative. The wine list is very interesting, but the glasses are left two-thirds empty. The live music was terrific, but started so late in the evening that we left after a few songs.
The fixed price menu for lunch is always a treat...Mirabelle has always provided something interesting on the menu that one can experience (especially for foodies). I always enjoy their unusual soups and delicious desserts.
A really nice addition to the neighborhood eateries. In its prior incarnation, the Three Village Inn was nothing - now we finally have a good place to go for dinner. Guy Rouge is fantastic, and so is the connected Merrible.
A wonderful dining experience !! Rustic setting, good service etc. The cocktail glasses could be a bit more filled; they were half-filled only. The price certainly merited a full glass. The meal was excellen t and the salads unusual and delicious.
Very nice place. The appetizer was good but the main course was just ok.
