This place has been going downhill for years. Last night's meal at Mirabelle's was our last because everything about the experience was dreadful. It was cold; we never took off our coats. The menu has been evolving to include items that you have to ask what they are, such as dauphinoise (potatoes) and crispy salsify (fried endive); I think this is supposed to sound upper crust, but that falls flat when the waitress has to go ask someone else. The staff is young and untrained, so no one knew. I finally googled it. There was a... read more
Food was tasty. Soup arrived without a spoon, by the time I got a spoon, soup was cold. Dessert arrived without a spoon. Servers were pleasant but in need of training. Would have been nice if fireplace was lit as dining room was cool.
Went for restaurant week. All appetizers for 4 of us, very good. Dinners,eh. 3 of us has the “ocean trout “ recipe was good and well cooked but it was salmon , or made a very good impression of it. If it’s that close to salmon have the waiter mention that as the 3 of us that ordered it are would not have. Asked if we were receiving bread with our cocktails they said yes but $8.00 charge, for 4 slices of bread 🙄. All in all just ok for money spent.
Service was horrible. They were not busy yet it took forever to get drinks and food (rating on food could have been higher if it had not been cold). When we complained our second round of drinks was comped. Even then we had to flag the waiter for the check and he didn’t come back to pick it up. We went to the front desk to pay. It’s a shame because we used to like this place.
Extremely limited menu. No specials. No bread or anything placed on table. Best food item was Ricotta Fig Arugula Salad. Unfortunately other food items were mediocre. It’s a shame cause we were celebrating my husbands 60th birthday. We were truly looking forward to this restaurant experience but very disappointed honestly. Waiter seemed nice and service okay but everything else subpar. I am so sorry to say this but it’s the truth. Thank you.
Entrees never arrived in Tim for us to get at Jazz loft. They had a wedding on site but staff at the loft said this is a common complaint. Waitress was lovely and told the kitchen multiple times. Ok for cocktails and app but forget entree unless you have unlimited time.
Food did not match the ambiance. Both Branzino and Halibut were overcooked/dry. Tomatoes in the Heirloom Tomato Salad were pale and tasteless. Water was never refilled.
Very expensive for the low quality of food / options provided for Mother’s Day. Also wasn’t expecting to be charged for juice / soda. Felt non alcoholic drinks should have been included given the price. While the ambience was pretty, the overall value isn’t worth it IMO. There was also a fly in my drink which I get happens but also did not leave me with a great first impression.
Overpriced / limited buffet selection. The food was not the best
