We took our dad out for a Sunday birthday brunch. The menu was great for brunch/lunch and the service was amazing! It was an overall awesome experience!
the food is always very good. i ordered the trout once and it was great but seemed alot like salmon.
The waiter was wonderful . Very accommodating and had great people skills.
My wife and I arrived as scheduled at 5 PM Sunday, figuring we had plenty of time to be out by 6:30 PM to make our 7 PM show at Staller Center. It took a long time to get our two appetizers and entrées even though we had decided before being seated what we would order. When I received my entrée, I waited for our busboy or waitress to come by to let them know it was not hot. I visited Mirabelle with a friend during Restaurant Week. A nice restaurant in Stony Brook near the boat dock. As soon as we entered we were immediately brought to a table. Our waiter asked about drinks and gave us a minute to peruse the menu. I had looked over the menu online, so I knew what I was ordering. Warm goat cheese salad, braised short ribs and chocolate mousse cake. Everything delicious especially cod fish!
Wedding party had the bar and staff pretty busy. Christine “Red”, our server, did a great job of pacing us for a 7pm show at the Jazz Loft, including managing GF expectations for one of our guests. That said, his salad still arrived with bread and sorbet with biscotti….generally the food was good, but not up to previous performance. The Tagliatelle with cod was bland. Portions were good for LI restaurant week
Was a nice evening and I eat the restaurant week menu
Good meal. Food took a considerable time to come out. Lighting was way to bright for dinner service.
