Excellent experience to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The Price Fix menu was available due to Valentine's Day and it was worth it for the elegant food served in this establishment. We chose to order off of the ala carte menu, though, and were just as pleased. We shared the duck taco appetizer...delicious. My husband enjoyed the fish and chips. I got the seared steak, which was cooked to perfection. The caramel chocolate torte was a perfect way to end the meal. Drinks were well-prepared. Our server, Peyton, was friendly ... read more
The restaurant was charming but dark even though the day was sunny. Service was great. Bread service was an extra $ 7 dollars and would not order again as it was very tough, dry and chewy. Oysters were delicious as was the wedge salad. Friends burger was good. Creme brulee was excellent. I felt prices were quite high but would return again sometime.
Extended restaurant week; enjoyed sea bass, salmon, cauliflower steak entrees. Also minestrone, scallops and panisse appetizers with profiteroles all around for desert. Supplemented with a wonderful Oregon Pinot Noir. Consistently wonderful venue
The food and service was amazing. Without a doubt worth a visit.
Not too fussy but a nice selection, cozy and nice enough to take, e.g. a work dinner. I absolutely loved the cauliflower steak and I'm not a vegetarian. There's an excellent selection of smaller, shareable plates too. My only complaints are that (a) the beer list is pretty sparse in maltier options and (b) the cheese/charcuterie board has an exceptionally bland selection of grocery store cheeses. But the rest of it is really pretty good.
We hosted our first business dinner in more than 2 years with 5 international guests. The food was superb and savored by each of our guests. Once again Mirabelle did us proud.
First time that the food wasn’t outstanding, this had been my favorite restaurant on Long Island for a solid 20 yrs but yesterday’s dinner was mediocre. And the price was up, wasn’t expecting quality to drop. I had the scottish salmon which is normally the best at this restaurant, it was a bit overcooked, and the side dish of kobucha squash and kale was not good at all, the squash was hard and the kale needed some flavor, bleh!
We have dined here many times. This experience was the most disappointing. Food was just ok. Service was attentive and fine. Steak was cooked to order but was generally uninspiring and delivered to the table luke warm. Stiped bass was good but preparation was just ok. appetizers were all very good. Desert was ok but also not as good as we have had in the past or at other Lessings establishments.
Absolutely delicious!! Wonderful service! Peyton was great! Food was incredible!
