We went here for lunch for my mother's 84th birthday. The Inn is lovely and the lunch menu was basic and good. It was a nice place to go. Nothing exciting, but pretty in a pretty setting and fine for lunch.

You can't go back again... I used to live nearby and enjoyed casual dining in the Sand Bar and more formal dining in the dining room at Three Village Inn. Both eateries gone. Made a reservation for the Mirabelle Restaurant, only to discover it was not open this evening due to slow night. Had to eat in the Tavern instead. The charm of the Sand Bar was gone as was the quality of the meal and music. Missed the white tablecloths of the restaurant for a wood table with placemats. Lovely lunch. The food was, as always, meticulously prepared, delicately "sauced", beautifully presented!
Seatednearfireplace which was nice& private. Saladwas great, but monkfish was awful. Dessertwasok. My friend enjoyed his burger.
Mirabelle is a nice bar/restaurant in Stony Brook. The location is beautiful. If you like bar/restaurant food, you will enjoy this place. Very comfortable. The service is also very nice.
The service was lacking. Waiter was more interested in talking to the receptionist in another room. We had to request his attention several times for we did not receive water or our food in a timely fashion. We never ordered desserts for he never came back to our table. We even had trouble getting the check.
Food and drink were fantastic!! I only have one complaint . . .as the girl walked around giving bread and butter to every table around us she repeatedly ignored us. I had enough food where I didn't leave hungry but some bread between courses is nice. :(
