Avoid this shoemaker at all costs! Poor workmanship, very expensive, and unfriendly. They replaced the elastic with a shoe stretcher; the elastic was super limp and not wide enough compared to the original, the stitching was badly done with thread that was a completely different color, and the elastic was the wrong color. It ripped after only two wears. It's a complete mess; they're only good for selling shoe polish. I went to this shop to replace my car key fob. I brought a new fob, hoping they would engrave the blade, and they charged me the normal price (€45). When I picked it up, the key wasn't recognized in my car. They politely asked me to come back with my old fob, because supposedly it was an electronic chip that needed to be transferred, which I did. The man had assured me that everything would be done and would work for free. And now they're telling me they can't do anything for me unless I pay €80 to have this so-called chip d... read more
Outrageous! €15 to get a key remade... I went elsewhere and left the Valletta locksmith's shop in the center of La Valette where the key was only €8! They were very kind and helpful. And if you want to have the key colored, it's the same price...
I would like to thank the two gentlemen at Mister Minit Grand Var. They managed to breathe new life into a pair of vintage gloves that are particularly dear to me. Aside from this work, I have been a loyal customer for years. They always know what is and isn't possible, and their prices are always quoted upfront. So thank you for your warm welcome and professionalism.
If I could have given zero stars, I would have. Seriously, run away! Never take your shoes there if you don't want them ruined. And especially without any guarantee of their work, because they're so sure of what they're doing. I took in a pair of boots where the stitching had come undone. They told me they only had the machine in Fréjus, so it would take longer, which I accepted. I got my shoe back and saw the work (if you can even call it that) that had been done.
