Today I tried, almost begged, to have the heels of a pair of suede boots repaired. It was supposed to cost 23 euros, but apparently the man behind the counter, who was busy on the phone with his wife, thought the heel was damp and he couldn't repair it. The heel was bone dry, but apparently we had a different opinion about it, and according to Mister Minut's policy, he wasn't allowed to do any work on it. Very unfriendly as if he doesn't even want to work or make money. You ask a question politely and get an answer as if you're not even human. This independent person feels better than everyone and has zero respect. I read in the reviews that he was in the army. I don't know what kind of respect he learned there. And he's also the most expensive one I could find in Belgium.
You can come here for all sorts of things; it is super convenient, located in Carrefour, so there is plenty of parking. Since there are fewer and fewer shoe repairers, locksmiths, etc., I am happy that I can come here, also for license plates and watch batteries or watch straps, for example. I did buy a watch strap that wore out quickly, though; the price-quality ratio was not right.
