New resident of Wavre. I was desperately looking for a shoemaker. Based on some of the reviews, I hesitated to go to this place. On Saturday, I went and the service was perfect 🤩. The two young gentlemen there were friendly and professional. I picked up my four pairs of shoes today, and the work they did exceeded my expectations. Thank you 🤩🙏🏽. I used their services to replace a watch crystal. It was returned to me two weeks later, no problem, but when I examined the watch and noticed two dents that weren't there before, the man (manager? over 50) told me it wasn't his problem, nothing could be done, that if I left the watch it would be sent back and I'd have to wait a long time. He ended the conversation abruptly, saying I should come back another day because he was in a hurry to close up shop... A serious lack of professionalism.
"Heart and soul" is an expression I unfortunately cannot use to describe my experience. The welcome was lukewarm, the expertise nonexistent; I found myself facing a purely financially motivated service. The result lacked finesse, three shoe sizes were incorrect, and the finishing touches were incomplete. It was a first, and it will be a last. What a shame! It's time for a staff upgrade. A word to the wise: thank you!
A warm welcome and professionalism were evident throughout. This craftsman demonstrated admirable patience and remarkable skill. He managed to reproduce a broken key, even though ordering a duplicate was impossible. His assistance was invaluable. A huge thank you for his efficiency and dedication.
