I had 24 panels installed in December of 2018 in West Michigan. It is a ground mount that was supposed to gain 100% sunlight in my large back yard to provide us an estimated $0 net utility bill with our utility company. $38,000 financed for this, and we have yet to go into a winter with ANY built up credit to sustain us. Extremely slow at answering questions. You have to keep at them to get anything done. They have not answered us since the 7th of March- ("I'm working on it and will call you back to answer your questions"). That's the last we heard from them. Keep leaving messages and sending e-mails. They still need to repair a wall (from Dec. 21) that was damaged hooking up the electric. As far as the panels go they work fine- especially good when the sun is out. Then it continued with my install team. Cameron, Joseph, and Tyler. The group that Modern Mill sent out was professional in every aspect of the install, friendly, and amazing to work with. My experience with Modern Mill at the outset of our installation was pretty good. Installation technicians appear to have done a good job. BUT, a year later my system's energy production is down by 50% and I cannot get any response to the company as to why. No returned calls, no explanation. Still on the hook for the payments for a system not producing energy as promised.
Josue at Modern Mill did a fantastic job servicing my solar install (also from Modern Mill). Josue was able to quickly locate the changes required and took care of it. It is great to see Modern Mill stand by their work, even years after the install is complete. Josue, in particular, was great to work with. Despite doing the job by himself, he didn't make you feel like a chore. The job took over 1 day. To finish the job the next day, he even stayed at a local hotel.
