We get a lot of robocalls and solicitors. I was told when ordering that they quickly identify and end the calls, to save time billed. Some are 30 seconds, but some go up to 2 minutes billed for these type of calls. I am pretty sure that they charge for the entire time the call is trying to connect, not just when the line is answered. The total time billed was more than the lowest tier and drove into extra charges. They don't work well with google voice, but I've since learned many providers don't.
