I have lived at the Montary Lake Apartments for 10 years and realize I have never posted a review. I went into the office this morning and I dealt with Genesis at the front desk. She was very friendly and took care of what I went into deal with right there on the spot which I was not expecting. It was her friendliness and professionalism that prompted me to write this review finally. Anytime I have gone into the office with any issue over the years. Terrible services, the pool is closed, except for the leasing one! The laundry room is always dirty, cockroaches everywhere! The apartment where I lived was delivered with wet and dirty carpets, they never wanted to change them, the kitchen only had 2 burners that were good and the oven never worked! NOT RECOMMENDED !
ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES EVERYWHERE ! Pest control cant even stop the roaches. Mold is in these apartments at an all time high. Water is shut off periodically at the oddest times of the day. The hot water is barely working. Most of the time the drains are clogged. While taking a shower the dirty water will rise to your ankles. The walls are paper thin; you will clearly hear your neighbors conversations. Some tenants leave their garbage in front of the door. If I could I would give no star. I want to start of by saying this management team is ridiculous ,vindictive liars. They have no problem taking your money but refuse to fix anything. The maintenance are also liars. Always claiming to fix something but never do or the famous we did it when they never came to the actual unit. Roof leaks for months, refrigerator out for months, stove out for months and no concern for my family. But you still took rent. Genesis is the best that has happen in Monterey. Her service is spectacular and on time and she truly cares for the residents here. que nunca se vaya o la mueven. Gracias por todo :)
