"Fish rots from the head" is a well-known proverb! You can't say any better about Namaste. Employees do not feel safe and their jobs are not secure. The atmosphere and culture is awful. Management does not support staff and gossip about people who do not "click" with management. I was a witness when 2 "leaders" were making fun of a nurse not knowing that she could hear them. Do I need to say anything else? I don't think so........

Very poor hospice model. Calls for hospice must go thru call center and than not returned or the next day. Hospice is suppose to be available, interested in patient outcomes and involved- dont think they got that memo. Might also remind them that this service is covered by Medicare and Medicaid do there is expectation of performance. I would look at other models first if that is an option. They have some good staff but infrastructure fractured at many levels

As a caregiver for a family member who requires the service of hospice, you don't know what you don't know. Thus, I think that hospice workers should be proactive with the information they impart to patients and their families, to include educating them. For instance, my mother was growing increasingly weaker, yet I was not taught how to help her get out of a chair safely (for both of us) or how to guide her while walking in case she started to collapse. Unprofessional and very negative culture! The long-time management team are like the mean girls and boys in high school supporting gossip. They do not support new staff, make fun of staff and are prejudiced. The only good thing is that I have a job while I look for another job.
