Excellent Pediatrician. I have been her patient ever since I was about 6 and she is the best doctor I have had. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. The only problem I have had are wait times (30+ minutes sometimes), but that is expected with every doctor. One of the things that makes her stand out among other doctors is she personally contacts my family with test results. All my other doctors make the nurse or even the person at the front desk do it. Dr. K is awesome. She always knows how to deal with the most complex cases and knows exactly what she is doing. Without her I don't know where we would be and she is always kind and caring in treating her patients. Out 2 year old and 5 year old love her and she has time for everyone. She knows the proper diagnoses for our very complex situations and and is always timely in sending an important referral. She is definitely one of the best doctors in AZ and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician.
Dr. Kanagal is one of the best Doctors in Arizona and she is really great to ALL of her patients. She always makes an accurate diagnosis and ensures that we get the best treatment possible. She is also a wonderful person and is always there for our children.

My son has been seeing Dr. Kanagal for more than 10 years now and she is an outstanding, compassionate and very knowledgeable doctor. The best.
We love Dr. Kanagal. She has been seeing my son since the day he was born until now (he is 2). She has been so supportive of me being a paranoid new mom and answers all questions. She is great with my son. So gentle and friendly. The only complaint is they overbook her schedule and there is a long wait. Usually 30 - 60 min. past the appointment time.
We saw Dr. Kanagal when our regular pediatrician wasn't available and we loved her so much that we switched to her. She is very loving and compassionate. She will call me personally with regards to any questions I have. My kids love her too.
I’m not looking for opinions or sympathy just letting you all know about something that I was taken back by and had to share. Forget the politics right now. Dr. Kanagal cannot handle more than a common cold or flu. She does not want to be bothered with severe issues. She is the type of doctor that would be great if your child is 100% healthy. She is not the type of doctor that would care enough about your child to go above and beyond if you needed it. We were not impressed and I had to push numerous times about having tests run. After finding out that I was right and that her delay would have set our child back we changed to a different doctor. She cannot handle extreme issues.
