I had such a great experience here!! I just completed my certificate and wanted to say a really big thank you to my teachers Nate and Luis! Nate taught us the logistics of making the all the drinks and Luis taught the history and legalities. I am so impressed at how much drink knowledge (and experience) they both have! Enrolling at NBS was an amazing decision for me! The course was very hands on and interactive which I really enjoyed. The instructor, Nate, is incredibly knowledgeable and had an answer for every possible question we could throw at him. I went into the course with zero bartending knowledge and I was able to find a bartending job at a Speakeasy within a month of completing the course. Moving to LA and wanting to become a bartender, I knew a school would be invaluable since I have no prior bartending experience. Well I'm so glad I went with National Bartenders because it is THE best bartending school in LA! Though the class does cost a pretty penny, you make it all back with the work opportunities they provide. So far, I've worked a nonprofit fundraising event, Kaskade's sun soaked music festival in Long Beach, and a Free People "experience" at an organic farm in Malibu.
