Not for Bromine Systems I'm sure this works well as designed, but I didn't read the fine print. It is silver based and not compatible with a bromine system. I had to place a new order for a Spa Frog
i think it works... this kind of stuff is a mystery if it really works or not right? I don't know if it's doing a darn thing
So far so good. I purchased this for my hot tub and ... So far so good. I purchased this for my hot tub and have only had to put minute amounts of chlorine (after heavy use) since installing this mineral sanitizer. It's nice to enter a hot tub that doesn't smell like chlorine!
Doesn't work with my filter, but that is ok. I can't attest to how well this works as a frogger. I just wanted to let people know that this does not fit into this standard filter: Pleatco PMAX50 Replacement Cartridge for Maax Spas of Canada, 1 Cartridge. The page doesn't say it will, however this is sometimes listed as a "Customers often buy with" option. Just an FYI to other users. I have it floating in the filter area though. Switched to the Nature2 from bromine tablets, night and ... Switched to the Nature2 from bromine tablets, night and day change, other than a bit of chlorine every few days, it's all you need for a hot tub. I'll never switch to anything else.
Missing part Just received the package today and the mineral stick was not included. Now I have to print a package label and take it back to ups when the item was not included. First time having an issue with Amazon.
It works. I got a intex inflatable hot tub and decided to get one of these after I had an algae problem in it. Shortly after that I got my first power bill 😱 So I told my husband to drain it since I was still having a few issues with the water and we would try again when it warmed up some. You'll find out that this is so much BETTER. You don't have that chemical smell all the time you don't feel like you're sitting in a bath of chemicals.
