The Nature 2 Professional G25 is replacement cartridge for the Nature 2 Standard Professional G Mineral Sanitizing System. It is an eco-friendly solution for in-ground swimming pools between 10,000 and 25,000 gallons, and drastically reduces chemical use. The G25 cartridge lasts up to six months, providing sanitization for an entire swim season. It uses 3" ports and requires a flow rate of 10 to 18 GPM.
Great filter, great price! We built our pool 5 years ago, and installed this "extra" filter during construction. We replace the cartridge every spring, and our pool maintenance is easy. We also like the fact that we can keep our chlorine at 1/2 the normal level (0.5 ppm) and still maintain clear, clean pool water. Gary This product works well,but the cost is insane. I have a pool with white plaster so the mineral stains stand out. I used a mineral remover witch removed the stains and this filter did the rest catching the tiny particles. The pool I had before this one had plaster mixed with marbel chips in it and I did not have problems with mineral stains. The plaster in my pool is 8 years old, I plan to replaster it this year with marbel chip plaster and end the stain problem.
Best price found Have used for many years for inground pool. Have purchased from the same online company until now. As this product is exactly the same anywhere, the only real deciding factor is price. Amazon's price was the best deal around.
Kept pool crystal clear all summer When I heard about this system, the guy at the pool store told me this was pure snake oil. However I had the system plumbed into my pool return line when I bought the house, and figured I'd give it a try. Before putting in the cartridge, I was going through about a gallon of pool shock every 2 days, just to keep the chlorine levels around 3ppm, and that's with an automatic feeder inline. saves on tabs Don't know how it does it but I save on chlorine tabs when I use this thing. Because we have a short season I get two summers out of one cartridge.
Marketing hype so save your money The pool company convinced me this was the way to go to keep chlorine use down while still offering protection from algae. Pure marketing hype and not backed by science. This last year I moved to ONLY chlorine bleach, baking soda, and muriatic acid as pool chemicals and had no algae issues at all. The previous 6 years of pool maintenance always included some algae issues which probably cost $350 annually to clear up. Leaking beads Within a month the beads leaked into the pool, the pump and the filter. Certainly someone can design a better containment system.
