I cannot say enough good things about this facility and everyone who works there. Every person we encountered was compassionate and exceptionally capable. They go above and beyond to make sure that your surgery goes well and that your risk of infection is as low as possible. From the pre-surgery calls to let me know what to expect, to the delicious meal my husband and I enjoyed while I was in recovery, it was a great experience.

Throughout my pre- and post-surgery time, absolutely everyone was informative and caring. I cannot stress enough how everyone I encountered treated me with care and lessened the anxiety of a major surgery, something that really matters. I do not know if specialty hospitals can be recommended, but if they can, I would recommend NC Specialty because the staff does show care at every level. Five stars earned. My mom had her hip replacement done today and the staff was exceptional! Her nurse, Dennis, was a stand out and he made me feel at ease knowing she was in such good hands. Thanks everyone for helping her and making it easy!

Dana, in pre-op waiting was the most compassionate human being I've ever met. My husband was cared for incredibly well. We were called the day before and asked to arrive at 11am- we waited a while due to surgeries being behind. My husband was taken back to prep for surgery at 12:15pm, I was brought in around 1pm. Surgeries were behind, but Mrs. Dana, RN, kept us informed and kept my husband comfortable. He was given a "cocktail" but it wore off before they could get him back, again, surgeries were behind. The entire staff here starting with the receptionist and everyone who assisted Dr. Alexander Barsham with my cataract surgery are the best. Everyone truly cares about the patient. I was so nervous about the procedure. Each and everyone helped me through it. I highly recommend them.
