I recently had a full anterior hip replacement because my osteoarthritis was so severe. NC Specialty Hospital is by far the best hospital I have ever been treated at. My doctor, Andrew Bowers M.D., is very professional and answers questions until you are satisfied. The nurses there are all so nice and treat you very respectfully! They go out of their way to help. ​I had surgery today, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire team. From the moment I arrived, the kind lady at check-in set a reassuring tone for the day. The nursing and support staff were absolutely amazing—attentive, compassionate, and incredibly professional. I was even served a great meal afterward, which was a wonderful bonus! Best out-patient surgery center I have encountered. From start to finish they provided professional and efficient surgery. My doctor — DR Mathew Popa is a super surgeon. The care that they provided me was impeccable and very kind. This instilled confidence and helped me relax preoperatively. The postop experience was excellent. I had a total hip done and went home the same day. The doctors were excellent, too. All caregivers were excellent in their communication and care of me.

My surgery on my shoulder/rotator cuff area went extremely well, and I couldn’t be more thankful. Dr. Crawford and his entire team were amazing from start to finish. They made me feel comfortable, informed, and truly cared for every step of the way. Their guidance and professionalism gave me so much peace through the whole procedure.
