The receptionist was so kind, helpful, and genuinely caring — she got me in for X-rays within hours because I had a painful toothache. The dental assistant was just as wonderful: warm, professional, and reassuring. And the dentist was absolutely amazing — charming, personable, and excellent at what he does. The friendly greeting at the for and the professional cleaning by the hygienist were superb my appointment went to pieces when Dr Fligor came into the room. This was my first visit to his office after being cared for by Dr Kyle Adams for over 20 years. It was s sad contrast. Dr Fligor did not have the presence to introduce himself or even say hello. The dentist and hygienist were absolutely amazing! They took the care and time to answer any questions I had. When I called the front desk and explained I was having pain, the associate seemingly pushed me towards contacting an oral surgeon for an extraction when I was not even seen by the dentist first. After expressing my concern for a professional opinion before I contacted an oral surgeon I had my appointment and was informed I have no cavities or anything of major concern. Tommy was very talented and professional at her job. She was very pleasant and enjoyed talking with her. She gave excellent advice on gum and tooth care. Hope to see her again in 4 months.
From the minute I walked in until I left I felt welcomed, well taken care of, treated with care and respect. My usual office is Tahoe City but I wouldn’t hesitate to travel to the Truckee office for services. Tanya, the hygienist, was kind, through, instructive and gave me some tips on other services for my oral health. All in, I recommend both offices.. North Tahoe Dental-Truckee and North Tahoe Dental-Tahoe City.
