I learned and grew more than I could have ever imagined in this program. Recovery is hard work, but if you’re willing to listen and put the work in you will get a lot out of it. This program taught me so much. Every instructor was phenomenal and my individual therapist helped me work through many internal issues. It’s important to be honest, open-minded, willing, as well as utilize your piers. If you jump head first into the program and fellowship you will build a community that will last a lifetime.
I was angry leaving my initial one star review because I felt lied to and deceived. I was told I’d be lucky to make it back to this place… meaning that I’d be dead and not be able to make it back. I was told I would be dead cause of how “horrible and defiant” I was. I did not like AA was not for me so I was going to die. Many people that worked here told me. I will forever be grateful for having the opportunity to start my journey to recovery here at northeast atc. The facility is great and the facilitators are amazing, I've learned so much and got so much motivation to keep moving forward in sobriety. Not only are the clinical groups informative and insightful, but you also get a lot of one on one therapy with a therapist and one on one time with the doctors. I have been in NEATC for two months and really appreciate the support they’ve given me. I’m an alcoholic and chose NEATC for their focus on AA. They’ve provided me with a very structured program. It takes a lot of patience, hard work, and dedication but this program made it possible for me. The facilitators and techs are amazing and all in recovery themselves, they lead you through the program with compassion and understanding.
My experience at Northeast has been nothing but positive. From the groups to the staff, it is refreshing to be accepted for who you are & know that things will get better through the process of this treatment facility. You learn things like relapse prevention & stress management which are essential to recovery.
