I learned and grew more than I could have ever imagined in this program. Recovery is hard work, but if you’re willing to listen and put the work in you will get a lot out of it. This program taught me so much. Every instructor was phenomenal and my individual therapist helped me work through many internal issues. It’s important to be honest, open-minded, willing, as well as utilize your piers. If you jump head first into the program and fellowship you will build a community that will last a lifetime.
My experience at Northeast has been nothing but positive. From the groups to the staff, it is refreshing to be accepted for who you are & know that things will get better through the process of this treatment facility. You learn things like relapse prevention & stress management which are essential to recovery. I'm currently on phase 1 of the program here at neatc. I'm having a great experience here so far. Everyone is very helpful. Therapists are knowledgeable and personable. The program aims to ease you back into society while keeping you accountable and giving you the highest level of care possible. They can provide you with all types of MAT besides methadone. Also, the sober house is very close to the treatment center so it's an easy commute every day.
Staff is absolutely amazing from clinical building to sober housing. I spent almost 4 months at Thayer street and the staff went above and beyond for the guys that were doing the right thing and treated us like human being instead of being looked down on. My therapist did an amazing job with helping me realize different things in my life and being straight up with me and not just telling me what i wanted to hear.. This addiction treatment center has great dedicated workers who really do care and want to see you succeed! My case manager went above and beyond for me and helped me take care of all my outside affairs she was well equipped to handle any and all my issues. My therapist was on point and helped me grow by being real and getting to the root of my problems not just my drug addiction.
