RecommendedWhen I called Northwest Self Storage on Hickory Street NE in Salem, Oregon, I was calling from Alaska to organize covered storage for my motorhome. Lori, the manager, was extremely efficient and willing to help. After answering all my questions, she agreed to do the contract paperwork using a combination of telephone and e-mail. With Lori living on the property, I feel that my motorhome will be secure. I appreciate that the area is paved about the storage areas and up to the graveled, covered parking units.
Dealing with the staff was not the issue. They were polite and helpful. Had been renting a space for our trailer for two months and received a notice of a rent increase of 30%. That just over $40/month. Not impressed. Whoever came to this decision is tone deaf to what ordinary people are experiencing in this economy. I immediately gave notice to terminate my relationship with this company. I will either find a place that is less expensive and will agree to a lease or will just buy a cover. Bye bye!😐
