I highly recommend Nurse Next Door in Burnaby. I recently needed their help on very short notice after a hospital procedure. Everyone works as a team to help their clients, from the person who takes your phone call to the person who accompanied me home to the person who followed up with me a week later. I started using Nurse Next Door Burnaby/New Westminster about a year ago. From the initial home visit by the care designer, to the actual medical appointments, the staff are prompt, friendly, efficient and professional. It gives me a peace of mind knowing that I can count on them for support and medical escort service. I would use NND again and recommend NND!

At some point in life, we all need medical screening that requires general anasthesia. In US, they will provide the driving service if you need one, here - you're left to fan for yourself. They won't accept the cab! RCH suggested the Nurse Next Door. Not wanting to burden friends, I considered. NND would charge for 3 hrs at $50 rate even though it would be just a 15 min ride. My mom dealt with nurse next door after a severe injury from a car accident. Nurse next door was brought in my icbc to help my mom around the house. But nurse next door was just awful. They made my mom so uncomfortable. I will never forget how they treated my mother who was in severe pain. Always pushing her to do something to report to ICBC that she can work around the house. My mother has now passed away because of ICBC.
