Update: As of Feb 24, 2026 after their word salad response!!!! They don’t pick up our calls (they have the number and voice messages including the one I put today), don’t answer emails and if they think they’re entitled to the whole deposit they need to send us an official letter with the full reasoning as to why based on the state of California laws. I had the pleasure of living at Oak Park Apartments from Feb 2024 to Feb 2025, and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience. We lived in a corner unit on the third floor, a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment, and the layout was perfect for us. We had a large dog, and the complex is incredibly dog-friendly. *Please Read Before Renting* I recently moved out of the Oak Park Apartments, and I wish I had known a couple of things before moving in. The biggest: upon moving out, building ownership charges you for preparing the apartment for the next resident. Therefore, regardless of how clean you leave the space (I left it perfectly clean), you will see $275 come off your deposit no matter what.
