The new management haven't returned my security deposit which is an entire month of rent! I moved out TWO months ago. (By law they have to issue the return in 21 days). Just imagine calling them for TWO months straight but get nothing in return. If this review is still up, I haven't got my money back!
We moved end of Aug and haven’t received our deposit yet. They keep postponing it and making up excuses that it’s because of management changes. Give us our money back.
I had the pleasure of living at Oak Park Apartments from Feb 2024 to Feb 2025, and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience. We lived in a corner unit on the third floor, a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment, and the layout was perfect for us. We had a large dog, and the complex is incredibly dog-friendly. Pretty nice property, they got some pretty nice people on staff. Ermer is really great, he always does a great job keeping the grounds clean and is very polite. Adrian works maintenance here and he really came through today when he helped us with an issue we had in our apartment. He was very receptive to our issue and made the time to fix it right away. A++.
*Please Read Before Renting* I recently moved out of the Oak Park Apartments, and I wish I had known a couple of things before moving in. The biggest: upon moving out, building ownership charges you for preparing the apartment for the next resident. Therefore, regardless of how clean you leave the space (I left it perfectly clean), you will see $275 come off your deposit no matter what.
