So far it’s been a good experience. I will admit the very beginning was a bit rough. Being shut down and then the computers going down off and on. But once you get through the computer work the rest of the process was easy. The workers in the back really take care of you and check up on you throughout your entire donation process. And thankfully I was able to joke with them. Tashee is the best! She’s the smartest person I’ve met in awhile, kind and hard working. She never seems to slow down. And she’s GOOD too. Not just quick. It almost never hurts and if it does it’s like she can absolutely tell and she’s so apologetic and genuine when it does. She’s so funny and down to earth! I always look immediately for her when I am going back to get poked cuz she knows what she’s doing. And I’ve never seen her be rude to people who definitely have deserved it in my opinion. Manager banned me because they didn't like my criticism of their company. Good one. The changes that corporate has made to this location are absolutely absurd. It took me almost 3.5 hours to donate today because "short staffed" and the staff that is working actually cant work and help the customers. I feel bad for the employees. I'm also tired of complaining at a local level, because this is not the employees fault at this location, and feed back from the people that actually call the shots would be great. I’ve been donating at OctaPharma for a long time, but recently, I’ve been increasingly disappointed with the way things have changed. When I first started, there were more phlebotomists on the floor, making the process faster and smoother. Now, it feels like there’s only one person working, which leads to much longer wait times.
