Visited the Rochester NY facility. I got there around 4:45 pm almost closing. Techs were short handed along with check-in personal. After making it to the checked in holding area I noticed the one doing the checking in switched to the floor to help out. After an hour and a half of waiting in that holding area I was finally called to a chair to start. Great staff! They take the time to explain the procedure before and as they do it...Late afternoon was my first time, it was pretty busy...mid morning, early afternoon might be alittle faster. Everyone is attentive to the donors and their experience. Thank you!

My experience was awful I had to wait 4 hours this was my first time here and it was one thing after the next. When I finally got to the chair to donate Britney blew out my veins on my left arm so then she said she could do my other arm I told her I wanted a supervisor to come over and do it to my surprise I was told she had to practice. I understand that they need to practice but no t when she already ruin one of my arms. I don't know if I will be coming back

I would like to thank phlebotomist David from the Erie facility who is very professional and such a pleasure to have for my donations. I would also like to commend the facility manager (the one who wears red glasses) on her dedication to the people who donate plasma. I really enjoy going there twice a week and interacting with the awesome staff. Thank you, Bob

I called ahead to ask about what I needed as a new donor, after the call, I proceeded to the center on public transportation. When I arrived I was told that there wasn't a nurse available to do physicals for two hours. So I had no choice but to wait, five hours later I was told I couldn't donate because my iron was two numbers low. Which I understand except for the employee doing my test was complaining the entire time she didn't want to be there, she is sick of standing and her back hurts.
