An Ohio State Waterproofing *** quoted $17k to waterproof a small room in our basement, ***air cracks, and install a proprietary exterior waterproofing system. The quote was based on $250 per linear foot. The vast majority of the cost was for the exterior system, which the *** said was unique to Ohio State Waterproofing. I had two appointments for a free estimate. I did not appreciate the sexist comments made by the individuals that came out to complete those estimates. I am an educated woman, with two degrees and a real estate license, I did not appreciate these individuals telling me "you look like a smart woman", while discussing the procedures and financing of the those procedures. They didn't investigate the problem thoroughly before doing work. Therefore, work done that didn't need to be done. It was another problem and water still coming in the house

First I had to call them back 3 times for the work to be done correctly. Then they are asking me to pay $145 every year to receive the warranty on a $10,000 job. They want me to pay this forever to ensure their work. I am very disappointed, as I called to complain pretty much I was told to bad. Also when they water proofed my garage there was a piece under concrete. I am having the concrete removed and they want me to pay for them to complete their work.

Installation went well. The crew did a great job. Very nice and professional. The error in getting my paperwork done by the sales people was very upsetting and the delay on starting the job was inconvenient.

Do not recommend! They strong holded us into a deal we did not want to take. They didnt finance us until AFTER they started the work with an understanding that they were going to finance us and for at or below a certain rate. Not only did we get *****ed and blatantly lied too by the sales rep the job is not worth the price. Also they didnt even seal the exterior cracks like they said they were going to. I have spent over 20,000 dollars for them to waterproof my house and a who new sump pump system. Well it has been nothing but problems ever since. I have had them come out at least every 6 months to fix an on going issue with their equipment. My basement had flooded at least 5 times now that they have installed their system. I do not recommend them what so ever. They have no after hours service so you are forced to call another company and spend hundreds of dollars on emergency calls.
