I don't know if I'm a VIP, but I know I get treated that way. I am a regular customer. The staff knows my palette and makes suggestions for me and my wife that are spot on. I know I'm a very picky eater, but my beef has to be the best part of my meal. When you start your meal with the best beef, then everything else, the sides, can fall in place. A friend ordered a Christmas gift for us from Omaha steaks. The package arrived with an empty bag where there should have been dry ice to keep the products cold. The products were warm and inedible. I contacted Omaha Streaks through their website and did not receive a response. I won’t waste my money on a company that to me doesn’t care about quality or customer service.
Never again! I have ordered these as Christmas gifts for several years now, but this was the last time I will ever do so. They used to deliver them in styrefoam coolers but have since switched to some type of lined cardboard box. When I received the oder, the dry ice packet inside of the package had ruptured and leaked fluid out everywhere. The meat is pretty good but the service is lacking. The lady working there made the experience awkward so we won't be back as long as the service is stigmatized with bizzare employees.
This was the first time we ordered from Omaha Steaks and the experience was horrible. I ordered about $300 on 6/30 worth of food to be delivered on 7/2. Here we are on 7/3 and still no package. After tracking it, calling the local store, and getting no where I called the customer care center. All they could do is reship the package so it could be delivered this weekend. We were supposed to be out of town for the 4th but now we had to cancel our hotel reservations/plans. UNBELIEVABLE!
