Dr. Khokhar performed my Endoscopy and I met him for the first time in the surgical room. He did say hello but unfortunately began the procedure before I was asleep. I remember gagging violently 3-4 times but couldn’t move because I was in the process of sedation. I knew I would fall asleep quickly, but remember the scary beginning. I don’t have reason to believe that it was intentional, but would suggest making sure that the patient is asleep before starting. It was a little traumatic.
