My procedure went extremely well. Dr. James Milite was professional, & transparent, he & the assistant made my experience comfortable & less fearful. It was completed within 5 minutes I had no swelling or bruising afterwards, The cyst was removed from the left bottom corner of my right eyeliner & I am very happy with the fast healing process. Only negative is they are not great at getting back to you when you leave a message with a question and it was extremely difficult to reschedule a surgery that I postponed two weeks ahead of the scheduled date But everything else was as great an experience you could ever expect from any medical institution. I was referred to Omni Eye Services by my eye doctor and scheduled an appointment after providing my insurance information in advance. Before my visit, I specifically asked the front desk to confirm my out-of-pocket cost, and I was told I would be informed the day before my appointment. That did not happen. When I arrived on 05/01, I asked again and was told I would “probably just have a copay,” so I proceeded with the visit in good faith. The doctors at Omni are wonderful. They have always taken excellent care of me and spend a good deal of time trying to assess my situation. I know I am receiving the best possible care and I trust each of the doctors to ensure my optical health. Dr. Milite is a godsend - he performed my dacryocystorhinostomy and dramatically improved my quality of life. Recently I have been seen by Dr. Rosetta and she is extremely kind and caring, and a pleasure to speak with.
Have the "droppy eye" thing. I'm 63 and my mom's side has this. Always thought it was "normal". Last few years - driving just seemed like something on the outside was missing. My eye doctor recommended Dr Milite. What a wonderful Dr and what a wonderful place. I've only seen one other place run a smooth and thorough as this. Every employee was awesome!
