The care during my stay through out the 2 weeks was outstanding. Everyone was kind and helpful. Gave me back my health. I felt like I was the only person they were taking care of. Would not have been able to come home without the help and encouragement of the PT And OT. They are a great team. Proud to say they helped me achieve my goal. Thanks to all from date of ER until discharge.

Took a friend to the ER who collapsed near the front door. A worker told him "If you fell on the ground you can crawl to this wheelchair". I witnessed this. I have been insulted while there(I have very bad teeth as my family does). No exaggeration, I have never talked to a person who went to the ER who had had a good experience. Most people I know think the hospital is a joke. We drive to Statesboro now as they do not insult the patients within hearing distance. Don't post asking me to call someone. I do want to compliment this hospital for its excellent care for my mother both inpatient and in rehab,. She had excellent, skilled care from everyone - doctors, therapists, nurses, cafeteria servers housekeepers. Very professional environment.

Visited the emergency room Showed my Humana ins card and asked if there would be any copay owed for the visit She checked and stated there was no copay owed Later they tried billing me for $100. If their staff had told me this I would have left without utilizing their services This Is their mistake and they need to own it Therefore I’m not taking responsibility for their mistake

I have been treated really well. I think they will get me back to where I need to be with my shoulder and arm.
