Dr. Bauer is by far the best oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He immediately recognized that my health was being jeopardized by a double fracture that allowed an infection to spread. I also had developed ectopy on my ECG. Without delay, he opened his schedule and fit me in for immediate surgery. I saw Dr. Bauer in the Wexford office for an implant of my front tooth, having Lupus for many years and being on some heavy duty medications could have compromised my implant, however Dr. Bauer and his compassionate colleagues along with their extreme skill and knowledge of oral surgery did a fantastic job, and all with no pain whatsoever. Review for Oral & Facial Surgery of Pittsburgh – August 2024 My 13-year old daughter needed a tooth exposure done for her orthodontic work. Upon entering the facility, we were taken back and told that they "needed" an up-to-date x-ray to look at where the tooth was located. Our orthodontist had done an x-ray in late 2023 and we were not given an option of getting a new one.
