Very impressed with them! Travis had to deal with a Yellowjacket hive and was calm and helpful. Also helped put our minds at ease. Only thing that could’ve been better was how long we had to wait for an appointment but I suppose that means the company is very popular!
We arrived to my parents’ house after they had been away for 6 weeks to find that a very large wasp nest had been established right by the pool stairs. We called several pest control services and were told that no one would be able to come for at least two days. Then, we were referred to Orkin! They were able to come the next morning. They will set a lot of traps for mice and rats but when it comes to preventing them in the house (ie patching up holes, seeing where/how they get inside) they do absolutely nothing. and when it comes to removing dead rodents it will happen at their convenience. so if for example you have a dead rat inside you house on an unlucky Friday night they may come to remove it in 3 days. if its a Monday morning then maybe that night but probably a day or two minimum with the dead rodent rotting. appointments for new customers are muc... read more
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Orkin in Barrie, Ontario. Booking the appointment was relatively simple (text messaging), the technician arrived on time, the inspection work was done concisely and accurately, the information provided exactly met our needs, and there was no high pressure attempt to sell extra services.
