My child had an outpatient surgery today. She has a lengthy medical history including history of congenital heart defects and stroke, for that reason rather than a regular anesthesiologist, she has to have a pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist. We met with an RN before surgery, she was lovely and did her part. Then before surgery we met with the man doing the cardiac anesthesia, we explained to him to not administer Tylenol because our 9 year old child is allergic to it.
