Dr. Michalowitz was amazing. We feel very blessed that he was working when my 2 year old daughter came into the ER with her injury. He took the time to discuss his recommendations with us and explain the possible outcomes. The surgery went great! On follow up visits in his office he would go in and help position her hand during the x-ray to ensure he was able to obtain the correct views he needed. My son hurt his wrist playing at a friend’s house. After seeing the pediatrician and having an x-ray we were referred to Pediatric Orthopedics at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois. The appointment scheduling was so fast and the care he received from Dr. Michalowitz and Jennifer Nelson was top notch. The office staff made him very comfortable and he was even able to design his own cast! So glad to have pediatric specialists to care for kids close to home!
Don't take your children here. They won't give the help your child needs to stop the advancement of scoliosis. No brace, no physical therapy, nothing. they did charge me $130.00 for a pregnancy test on an 11 year old that wasn't disclosed until arrival. Policy that is hidden from your knowledge until after the fact.
This was a wonderful visit for my son ..The nurse Chloe and doctor Andrew were amazing ..there energy in the room was soooooo calm …. If it were possible to have them two in ever facility morning and night …..cloneee😂😂😂
