I had my cyst removal surgery at this hospital and had an excellent experience. The doctor was amazing and truly listened to me after my symptoms had been dismissed elsewhere. The entire team was kind, professional, and made me feel supported throughout my stay. My night nurse was wonderful and incredibly attentive! My brother was rushed to this hospital by ambulance with no heartbeat and did not make it, I showed up later and the staff was very compassionate and did their best to comfort me and explain what had happened to him. I wish I could mention them by name but sadly in my grief I forgot their names. They really tried to save him unfortunately, it was not meant to be. I will always be grateful for the compassion and kindness they showed me on this sad day.
I have been happy with my mother’s care. The doctors and nurses have generally been great. One nurse gave me the third degree because I asked for a sheet of paper. She wanted to know how I was, who my mother was, her room number..all over a piece of paper. I should have asked her name. When I tried to report what happened to the nursing department, I received the run around. I was told to go through the chain of command. No one has gotten back to me. I havnt been here in years and I chose to come here based on a friend's recommendation over christ hospital, and thank god I did. They were not that busy and I saw they were calling in patients fast!. I was in the waiting room like 30 mins. Which ive never experienced that swiftness in my life at a hospital!. I got into a temp room untill they got a bed made but that was only maybe 30 more minutes. So within about an hour I got a bed. I saw the doctor quick. Got blood drawn fast, mri quick. The ER is so unpleasant. The staff has attitudes. My brother came in with chest pains and has been waiting over 6hrs and still waiting to be called for a room. A lady came in was waiting and passed out with stroke symptoms. There was no staff to help only one fast track nurse. It was a young man who was waiting for his bleeding leg to be wrapped up that helped her while she was on the floor. No rapid response team was called as they acted they didn’t care to help.
