Feeling extremely let down by OSF as a whole. I already had a phobia about going to a dr due to past medically induced ptsd so I was apprehensive going when my shoulder started hurting with no relief 2 years ago. I smashed my foot and got an xray done at a small hospital in Southern IL and they told me nothing was broken and it was just a contusion. Scheduled an appointment for a follow up with Shannon Whitley in the town i just moved to. She sent me back for more xrays after examining me. She was very thorough and found a fracture in my foot the other hospital missed. She listened to me and gave off concerned mom vibes and I'm really happy I went to her for a second opinion.

How do you get a call back? I have had Dr. Mitchell for many years before OSF took over. Never a problem setting up an appointment. Now I call the number get a recording to leave a message and a promise of a call back within 48 hours. No one ever calls me back. Such a shame because Dr. Mitchell is a great doctor but I need an appointment. Guess I’ll have to go to Morris

I saw Kate Jaegle at the OSF Orthopedic Group and would not recommend her to anyone. I was in extreme pain and in need of a hip replacement. She was condescending and disrespectful during my visit. I was visibly upset from pain and frustrated at her lack of concern. She told me that she could not help me and I should talk to a therapist. My fiancé went to his appointment yesterday with so much hope. He has been in excruciating pain for months, but had to wait because of St. Margaret’s closure. He was excited to meet with a doctor and finally have a professional plan (from the doctor) in place to address his pain. The “doctor” told him that he is too old for surgery, (he’s 52) and that he is a “medical wreck.” In addition, he said he could not help him in any way.
