I hate to not give OSF 5 stars cause they did do an amazing job with my brain cancer surgery and radiation. I absolutely love Dr. McGee and Dr. Sheu. I would be dead if it wasn't for them. I have absolutely no problem with OSF Hospital. I think they are the best cancer cancer in Illinois. I transferred from Carle health cause I thought it would be better to have my regular Dr in the same hospital as my cancer Dr.s. Have had my appointment canceled on their part repeatedly. Even canceled my reschedule two more times over a two week period. This has happened too many times.
It is always frustrating when a physician's office will charge for a missed appointment if not canceled in 24 hours (because the physician's/physician's assistant/nurse's time is limited and valuable). I set an appointment, two weeks in advance, confirmed it, and then rescheduled a busy out of state travel schedule only to be contacted at 0715, thirty minutes before the appointment, and canceled. The entire facility & staff are amazing and so friendly. Dr. Troy Pequette is one of the best providers I could ever ask for for my son!! He truly cares, and listens. Dr. Pequette understands that you are your child’s advocate and know him/her best. The first time I took my 17 month old in there, Dr Pequette recognized ME from when I saw him a few times when I was a child before he switched to a different facility - that was over 17 years ago. He truly cares about his patients! I highly recommend this practice!
I have never been so disappointed with a doctor's office. After spending multiple hours composing notes, emails and talking to several people on the phone no one could help get me an answer. The office manager, Ashley was supposed to call me back a long time ago and never followed up. Since then, I have called multiple times and left voicemails and she has continued to ignore me and not call me back.
