They do not accept walk-ins. I checked their website before making the drive and when I got there, the receptionist said they no longer except walk-ins so when I informed her that this information is not on their website she said I know I know I’m sorry.!
I love OSF. Dr. Chavez is amazing. She’s helped me more in the less then a year I’ve been seeing her then any other Dr. She truthfully, honest and respectful with you. She does everything she said she is going to do almost immediately. She sends in my prescriptions puts my referrals in the system. I love using My chart as I suffer from severe anxiety and it helps me talking through her on the and she is always fast at responding and answers all my questions. I love my doctor here but I'm going to have to find someone else to see simply because the staff here has extremely poor communication, takes days-sometimes weeks- to get back to me about prescriptions, orders the wrong medical supplies for me, and shows general incompetence. If I need a prescription changed or refilled I have to call pretty much daily and leave "messages for the nurse" with whoever answers the phone. Every time I've came to this clinic, I always felt welcomed. I've never had to wait no more than 10 minutes in the waiting room or for the doctor to come see me. I've seen APRN Banesa Chavez, and I have to say, she is one of the kindest, nicest and caring people I've ever encountered at a clinic. She takes her time talking and actually listening to me and my concerns. She's always helpful and goes out of her way to help me with any questions, comments, or concerns that I have. Highly recommend.
I was shocked at how great my visit was here. I braced myself for a long wait and a chaotic environment but I experienced neither of those. I was warmly greeted as a walk- in. The office is bright, clean, and well lit. The staff exhibit great bedside manners, they are efficient, and caring. I was in and out within 30 or 40 minutes. I highly recommend this office.
