1st it takes 10 minutes to get through the automation system. 2nd, once you get through to talk to an actual person they can't tell you anything and just want to schedule an appointment. It's like one of the wealthiest organizations in the world can't say anything unless they first get that sweet insurance billable so they can get more money.
My kids having been coming here and to the same doctor since babies and I can never ever get them in for appt here anymore when their sick and I try an appt I get told to too booked up take them to prompt care instead. My 17 year old starting having seizures last October which we still have no answers to and when neurology wanted a follow up with her family doc he was upset and said their pushing their work off onto me I can never get the right med forms faxed to her school on time they make me feel like it’s huge inconvenie... read more
First time going today . The staff was very kind and helpful. It was fast . Dr. Gaffney highly recommend. First time I have felt like I have a solid medical plan moving forward . They do a great job. I am very happy to have them as my new medical plan.
Took my three kids in for initial appointments and it was very pleasant. But my son was prescribed the wrong epi pen (which we paid for) and even though the correct one was eventually prescribed (after several phone calls), and I was told we would be reimbursed for the mistake ($100 mistake), it’s been a year, I’ve provided all the necessary receipts and nothing has been done. Unfortunately with Dr. Gaffney leaving there is no reason to use OSF Chillicothe. Nursing staff repeatedly fails to communicate and on at least two occasions been caught flat out lying. I feel sorry for anyone relying on necessary medications or insurance adjuster paperwork to be filled promptly by OSF.
