I saw Lori Farris, APRN, CNP, today at OSF OnCall Urgent Care in Washington, IL. Lori was friendly, thorough, attentive and very knowledgeable. The office was clean and well managed. My wait time was only a few minutes. I felt valued and well cared for! Thank you OSF!
I know these places have different staff in and out of them all the time, so I usually don't review based on one experience. However the last 2 times I've been in, the staff refused and/or didn't know an effective treatment which seems ridiculous. The first time, I went in for a huge allergic reaction. The lady at the prompt care told me there was basically nothing she could give me other than some steroids. I visited OSF in Washington recently with a non emergent illness. The entire staff from the moment I walked in the door until my visit was complete was very kind and attentive. My situation was treated in a professional manner and the necessary treatment was advised. I would definitely recommend Washington OSF.
Do NOT consent to let OSF "listen" to your visit for MyChart. I came here with a severe allergic reaction to both arms, legs, and neck. I could tell the nurse didn't want to deal with this when I explained what was going on. She told me to sit down and wait, it was very busy. She actually tried handing me a card and told me I can just leave and call the number on the card to speak to a nurse instantly... Place is a complete and total joke. My wife saw an NP there. She had all of the signs of mono/strep. Wasnt even going to test her. She literally had to ask for a strep test. They gave her the test it was negative and then just randomly prescribed 5 days of predisone likely for her swollen lymph nodes, probably to get her out the door and coming back to bill her again.
