Last night at the OSF Urgo OnCall location in North Knoxville. I came in for unexpected health concerns and am happy to say that I am fine. I visited OSF OnCall Urgent Care for rib/muscle pain and had a very disappointing experience. The provider didn’t examine me at all no touching the area, no movement check, nothing. They simply asked where it hurt, immediately suggested I “maybe go to the ER,” and then prescribed muscle relaxants without any real evaluation. I left with no explanation, no reassurance, and no sense that my symptoms were taken seriously. This felt rushed and dismissive, not like proper urgent care.
So I just did a virtual visit with OSF OnCall and all I can say is, WOW! I cannot make it in to see a provider today as I have a special needs daughter home with me. So I decided to do this online visit where I filled out a form, hit submit and prayed for antibiotics... Within a minute of me submitting, I have a note in my chart with a diagnosis and a link to send the scripts to the pharmacy. Magical! Never in my life have I been so excited to get antibiotics!
Everyone who I worked with from the receptionist the nurse and the doctor I saw took very good care of me and made me feel like they cared and were concerned and wanted to make me feel better.
I've always gotten in promptly & been diagnosed correctly @ this OSF Urgo care. The staff is friendly & attentive. Would highly recommend.
