Another hospital in the area kept releasing my dad and he kept getting sicker. He had pneumonia and had stage 4 COPD. He was taken to OSF and they did an amazing job with him. They didn't release him until the ran the correct antibiotics and until he actually said he felt better. His doctors were wonderful. The nurses were so sweet. The caseworkers were really helpful. Thank you for caring about my dad and his family. We really do appreciate it.
Doctors didn’t listen to my daughter. They refuse to believe it could be her gallbladder. Ultrasound showed gallstones and swollen gallbladder. She has autoimmune hemolytic anemia. Her spleen has been removed. After the spleen is removed, the body attacks the gallbladder. Refused to do a HIDA scan. One ER Dr wanted to admit her, another said no. GI dr asked why they weren’t removing gallbladder; then backed off when other two drs said it wasn’t her gallbladder. Thanks for nothing.
As a outpatient procedure they treated me like I had some major surgery...very polite. Professional and called me the next day, sent a recovery well wishing card. And the a letter a week later. Making sure if I had any issues to let them know..glad they are in danville
If you have a loved one that is a senior DO NOT SEND THEM HERE! They kick them out as soon as they can especially if they need the bed for someone else. The case workers and medical staff do not communicate. One person tells you something while another tells you something else. My mother was discharged feeling worse than when she came in. She did not get the care and attention that she needed. Go somewhere else if you can.
Honestly id give OSF a zero star if I could!! This hospital shouldnt be a hospital they really only care about ur money not ur health. Took my fiancée to the ER on 11-21-25 because she is pregnant and had not peed for almost 8 hours we spent a total of 2 and half hours and they didnt do anything. They did a catheter 3 times and never got it to work and made her bleed while she is pregnant we ended up having to take her to another ER in Paris, IL where the did their actual job and care about u as a patient/person i will never... read more
